The introduction of
TRUSTED© Manufacturers Product Compliance Marks, and TRUSTED© CCTV Operation Marks (example right) & Notification Signage, are currently undergoing a comprehensive review, and are expected to be formally announced shortly.

Initial feedback from industry experts has been unswervingly positive, with significant interest being generated in what is undoubtedly going to become the most important phases of this unique CCTV Improvement Project.

The TRUSTED© Project's first UK "National CCTV Improvement Week" will take place from the 6th - 12th May 2012

This dedicated TRUSTED© website is currently under development, and should be fully functional early in 2012.

April 5th 2015 London U.K. - Announcement of the official launch of the unique new TRUSTED CCTV ( Part2 ) Operational Standards for existing systems

April 15th 2015 London U.K. - TRUSTED CCTV's new online e-Store goes live, with Security Camera System Operational Standards available to purchase for the first time.


Interested in becoming a TRUSTED Supporter?:-

Anyone or any organisation involved in the manufacture or specifying of CCTV equipment, the operation of video surveillance systems, the processing and handling of CCTV recorded 'product', or with an interest in improving the efficient and responsible use of CCTV ( in other words, any genuine CCTV 'Stakeholder' ), can become a "Supporter" of The TRUSTED© CCTV Improvement Project

A registered Supporter will be listed (free of charge) on the TRUSTED© CCTV Improvement Project's online 'Supporters Register', due for launch in 2017.

In addition, Supporters who provide additional assistance, perhaps through the provision of an annual donation to help support the work, will also be permitted to use a customised TRUSTED© Supporters Mark on their website, publicity material etc.

All Supporters will have the opportunity to be more closely involved in developing future aspects of the project, and receive early notification of all work as it progresses.


Who can be listed as a TRUSTED Supporter?

An Individual Supporter - either a specialist Consultant / Crime Reduction Advisor,
or perhaps someone with an interest in helping improve CCTV Standards.
A Business Supporter - Small, Medium or Large enterprises that are most likely already
using CCTV as part of their routine security requirements.
Equipment Manufacturer - A manufacturer can become a Supporter, and if approved
will be able to use the Product Classification and Compliance Marks.
Specialist 'Trade Body' - TRUSTED
© can be adopted by an organisation on behalf of
members, with "Individual Supporter" status offered as an benefit.
• Local Authority or Department - If Video Surveillance is already being used, as a Supporter
an Authority will be able to use TRUSTED
© Signage.
Law Enforcement Agency - An organisation may support various aspects of the project,
to help raise the quality and admissibility of evidential recordings.
Other Stakeholders - A wide range of businesses and organisations, for example CCTV Distributors,
larger Security Consultancies, Legal Practitioners, Civil Liberties groups etc. may wish to participate.
• Standards Body
- Subject to agreement, aspects of the TRUSTED© project work
could be made available to an existing recognised Standards Body
